Aint nothin' But A Hound Dog!

This post is for my niece, Jordan, who a couple years ago bought this Elvis shirt when she went on a school trip to Graceland. She was nice enough to buy a souvenir for the boys (with her parents' money) Gavin refused to wear it for the longest time, but now Maddox has taken a liking to it. Tonight Maddox decided to wear a jammie shirt to bed...typically, the boys wear undies to bed. It helps that when you wear it you get to dance on Mom and Dad's bed while Elvis is cranked up in the background.

Band-aids and More Band-aids!

Yesterday morning we noticed a spot on Maddox's chest that seemed to be a scrape of some sort, who knows? It's not unusual for us to find these things on his body every once in a while, or even daily. After going to Holiday World it seems to be getting worse instead of better...so, I put some Neosporin on it and he found this cool band-aid that Amber had given us the day they came down to take our pictures...why she gave us a band-aid I don't remember??? Anyway, he wanted me to take his picture to show Amber. Where she comes up with these, I don't know. It's an egg! All we have is Diego and Batman.

Tonight as Gavin was in brushing his teeth I noticed he was taking forever, so I went in to see what the hold-up was all about. This is what I found.

He said that Larry had told him we needed to put some Neosporin on a scrape that appeared under his eye a couple days ago that looks red and puffy as well. He decided to do that all on his own and thought it needed a band-aid even though I assure you that the band-aid is not touching the area with the scrape. As he was trying to adjust the band-aid I snapped this shot. Ouch! Luckily, those band-aids aren't too sticky!

Holiday World!

Yesterday we went to Holiday World and had a great time! The weather was nice, overall. It was overcast most of the day so we didn't have the sun beating down on us. It downpoured for about 10 minutes around 6pm when we were getting ready to leave the water park. The boys played in the rain since they had their suits on. The lines in the waterpark were long, but it wasn't a problem since the boys didn't seem too interested in going down any slides. The lines in the park weren't long at all. Thank goodness!

I didn't get a lot of pictures at the water park, but here are a few that I did get throughout the day.

We stopped to eat on the way home and both boys fell asleep in the restaurant...they were completely exhausted...and I'm paying for it today!! Naptime can't come quick enough today!

One more week...

and Gavin will be in Kindergarten. It's hard to believe, but in another week it will be a reality. We are headed to Holiday World tomorrow morning (Wednesday). We thought we'd take off and do something before he starts. Larry's been working so much lately that we haven't had a chance to get away for a while, so we're looking forward to it.


I decided to post this video of Gavin and a few of his friends at their preschool graduation. I actually had two videos to share, but they're lengthy and this was my favorite of the two songs. Gavin really got into the songs at graduation. He's had numerous programs for Christmas, Spring Concert....and never a performance quite like this. In case you don't know what he looks like, just listen for the loudest child. That's our Gavin! Gotta love him.

Jeepin'

On Saturday we took a little detour on our way to my parents' house. We did a little muddin'. The boys were more than excited. It takes such a little amount of mud to make them happy!

Obviously it doesn't take much mud to make Larry happy either!

Filthy Rich!

On Saturday Larry and the boys headed to Grandma and Grandpa Dorn's to spread some rock to put under their camper and get their feet muddy . According to Gavin their camper is SO AWESOME!

Grandpa Dorn even gave them some CASH for their hard work!!!

Thanks Grandpa Dorn...and Grandma too for making them a good lunch!

Swirly Time!

I decided to try something new. I haven't posted any video footage of the excitement that goes on at our household yet. So, here it goes! This is Maddox after getting his first and only SWIRLY. You'll have to watch to find out what he did to deserve it. I'd hate to see what would happen if he did something really bad. (By the way, I had nothing to do with it)
