Slowly but surely!

I'm gonna make this short and sweet...I was down again this week luckily. I wasn't expecting to be. The exercising must be my saving grace because I ate PLENTY this weekend. Larry's Aunt Vicki from Wyoming was home meaning lots of get-togethers and meals at the Dorn's. I've told you before my mother-in-law is a great cook. We had Mallory's baptism and celebration and I could go on and on. I'm thinking I just got lucky. I did not exercise for 3 days in a row! Usually when I do that I give up on it, but Monday I knew I had to do something so I ran my LITTLE butt off. I'm going to say that's what did it. I am down 1.2 lbs. leaving my total at 17.6 lbs. Only 2.4 more to go to my first goal.

One more thing...Larry has this "friend" who has PRESSURED me into going outside my comfort zone and trying something new. I'm going to run (and probably walk) a 5K race in a couple weeks. He is going to stick with me no matter what...even if I have to walk the whole thing...which I'm NOT! Now I have that to work toward as well. Maybe it'll help me get to that goal too, who knows? Honestly I've been thinking about running a 5K race anyway, but am feeling I'm not ready for it...what's there to lose though. It'll be good for me...right? Thanks Jarad! I'm teasing about the PRESSURED part too and obviously the fact that I was going to make this short and sweet!

Mom was down this week too! .4 lbs Remember it's better than nothing...or even a gain. You're headed in the right direction!

Down again , how awesome. Just keep going down each week even if it is small amount. Remember those hot summer days with those pounds off. YOU CAN BOTH DO IT. I KNOW YOU CAN.
