Is it Fat Tuesday or what?
What a coincidence! I gained tonight...Mom stayed the same. I was up .4 lbs. Geesh! I'm guessing that I picked at food quite a bit more than I thought I did this week. I exercised...but probably ate a little more cake, licked a bit more icing, and snacked more than I realized that I did. Mom was really disappointed that she stayed the same...I wish I would've stayed the same.
Until next week! Oh, and if I have any more interested in a PARTY...email me! ldgdorn@hotmail.com
I'll wait til closer to give the details and get in touch with each of you personally. It seems that party may be a ways off!!!!!!!!!! What a way to celebrate Fat Tuesday! Encouraging words needed!

Another accident!
No pictures for this post, but thought I'd share this story. Maddox and I had dentist appointments yesterday. We were next to each other, but couldn't see each other. Lisa was cleaning Maddox's teeth. Here's the rest. I don't remember her exact words, but something like these.
Maddox: Am I done yet?
Lisa: Almost!
Maddox: Darn
Lisa: Darn?? We're almost done, just a couple more minutes.
Maddox: I said Darn, Gavin says "Shit!"
Lisa: (Smiling I'm sure) Do you need some vinegar? My Madeline gets vinegar when she says bad words.
Maddox: Gavin gets soap now!
etc., etc.
One more thing...this was just yesterday also. Yesterday was a day of memories, I guess.
"Mom, why do girls' weiners look like butts?"
I don't honestly remember my response. Gotta love him.

Skating party!
On Saturday we had a skating party for Gavin. He had a great time! It was the way to go. We brought the snacks, drinks, plates, etc. in and set them on the table and that was all we had to do. They did the rest. So easy!

Gavin's Birthday!
Gavin woke up bright and early for his birthday breakfast. Breakfast usually consists of cereal, oatmeal, or the ever so famous pop tart. However, I told Gavin he could have whatever he wanted for breakfast the night before. All he wanted was mac and cheese. We threw in some bacon too.
We ate at DQ with Grandma and Grandpa Dorn and Kelly, Jeremy, and Mallory and finished off with some cake - it seems to be a birthday tradition with us.

Gavin trying out his new guitar...A guy that Larry works with has a son that plays guitar and a couple years ago was selling his old one, so we bought it and put it up in the attic thinking that someday we'd get it down and give it to him. He's really proud of it...and plays it every day. Did I mention that we did get an amp for it. I'm thinking LESSONS sound like a great idea at this point. If you know of anyone around here that gives lessons, let me know. Maddox with his rock band guitar and Gavin with his
Gavin had a great birthday this year. Here's how I know. When I tucked him in bed that night he said these words after I asked him if he had a good birthday. "Mom, I'm the happiest birthday boy ever!" I still smile just thinking about it.
