Larry's home today...he has two days off! I mentioned to him last night that if he and Gavin got up early enough that they could bike to school. Gavin asks every morning...I tell him if we're ready early enough that we can do it. We have to allow extra time for Maddox to pedal his heart out all the way there. He would be fine, but traffic starts to get a little hectic as 8:00 gets closer and closer. He's a great rider, but I'm not comfortable riding along busy roads with him. Anyway, so far not everyone has been ready early enough. When it's just Larry and Gavin they can get ready super fast!
Here they are, backpacks in place. Today is Gavin's snack day and so he had drinks, crackers, and string cheese and those drinks are heavy. So, Larry took his backpack along too to take the load off.
Larry called after they got to school and Gavin was smiling ear to ear...and he said he did a great job getting there.

Looks like the day got off to a great start for both of them! I'm sure Gavin was beaming to have his dad ride with him to school. What a great memory for you all!

It was fun until he got back home...then broke into cleaning his garage.
