Larry had a week of vacation scheduled at the beginning of June. We usually head to Indiana to see my sister and her family. This year we decided to take her girls with us to Kings Island which is only about 45 minutes from their house. However, the weather didn't cooperate. It was raining and storming the entire time. So, we decide to try out the Great Wolf Lodge, it's basically a hotel with an indoor waterpark.
We give it a thumbs up!

Larry surprised Taylor, Jordan, and I with pedicures at the Elements Spa...talk about being pampered. He thought it would take an hour. It took about 3. He and the boys swam and went to the arcade, so it was ok.

Elaine and Brent, thanks for the hospitality while we were at your house...even though we had no electricity due to the storms. Larry's ready for scherades again. He must have another good one.
Taylor and Jordan, we still wish you lived in Illinois. We had a great time with you and appreciated your help too. Gavin wants to go there for his birthday next year since it's cold in February. He has it all planned out already.
As always, we had a great mini-vacation with the Marshall's!

Where is this Great Lodge?
This one was in Cincinnatti, just next to Kings Island. Our original plan was to go to Kings Island, but due to the weather we had a change of plans and thought this would be perfect. I know they have a website that lists the other locations. There aren't a whole lot of them around.
